Hosted within a high security data centre near London, ELAS (Electronics-Line Application Server) is EL's enhanced Cloud based service
solution for managing and controlling security systems. ELAS is a fully redundant, scalable and secured Cloud based web server with
which EL control panels are in constant communication. The control panels reside locally at the end-users' homes and/or offices and uses
GPRS in order to connect to the ELAS (The GRPS communication of the panel is local, even if the ELAS resides in another country). The
use of this service via WEB is free, however the use of service through an APP (Apple or Android) comes with a small cost to subscribe to
and requires a user name and password to be issued. The ELAS's IP address is configured in the panel and as soon as the panel is powered
up and connected to the internet (via IP/GPRS) it initiates communication and opens a channel to the ELAS mechanism allowing
connection access to the panel.
End-users are able to use Smartphone applications or web browsers in order to control and monitor homes and/or offices 24 hours a day.
ELAS employs an encrypted SSL 3.0 protocol, utilizing sha1 algorithm for complete security.

Elderly Care – Immobility Detection
Elderly parents often live on their own without assistance. Our systems use the motion
detectors to detect lack of movement for over a specified time frame, enabling notification
of the elderly parents’ immobility.
Immobility detection operation
n The time frame can be configured, for example to 10 hours
n The countdown begins at Unset and is reset every time motion is detected in one
of the detectors defined for “immobility”
n When “immobility” occurs the system sends an alert by SMS, email, Push
notification to Smartphone, or to the monitoring station
n During Set, the motion detector acts as a regular detector for detecting intruders
